Gateway to African Environmental Law & Policy
The wealth of information available on the World Wide Web is often
scattered and difficult to find. The Gateway is an attempt to facilitate internet
searches by arranging links to Web sites related to African Environmental Law and Policy
by country, or environmental
issue. There are a number of useful sites which span geopolitical boundaries,
and are not issue specific. We have grouped these resources as being either African
or Global in origin.
Country-Specific Resources Each country page links to
Web sites relevant to that particular nation. Links are presented by the nature of
information (i.e. Constitution, Law, Government, NGO, etc.). Also included are links
to regional and international web sites with resources on numerous African countries.
Environmental Issues in Africa Organized
to facilitate searches for information on a particular topic, these links and ELI
publications are organized as they relate to particular environmental issues.
